About FleetScout
FleetScout is an award-winning fleet technology partner – specialising in automated vehicle inspection & damage detection solutions that help operators reduce cost, risk, and downtime.
Founded by sopp+sopp in 2024, one of the UK’s best-known fleet accident management specialists, our solutions were designed in response to a genuine industry challenge – unreported vehicle damage.
Our AI damage detection model has been trained on hundreds of thousands of cases of vehicle damage – across cars, vans, HGVs, and trailers – enabling fleets to eliminate unreported defects from go-live.

Daniel has worked in the automotive technology industry since 2017 – leading the development and integration of bespoke technology solutions for some of the UK’s best-known motor insurers, fleets, and vehicle manufacturers.
Previously IT director at Activate Group, one of the UK’s leading collision management specialists, Daniel has been with FleetScout since its inception – and initial pilot with Tesco.
